La Jolla Country Day School’s financial assistance awards are based on a family's demonstrated financial need. Financial assistance applications for the 2025-26 school year will be available as of September 1, 2024 and must be completed and submitted by February 1, 2025.
Remember, your application for financial assistance is separate from your application for admission to LJCDS. Your financial information is kept confidential and not shared with the admission committee.
We understand that choosing to join an independent school community requires a family to make a significant financial investment in their child’s future. At LJCDS, we strongly believe that the value of a La Jolla Country Day School education lasts a lifetime, and we hope you will agree as you continue through the admission process.
Please know that I am happy to talk to you on the phone to answer any questions that you may have. I realize that the process can be overwhelming to first-time applicants, so please do not hesitate to contact me directly, should you have any questions.
I look forward to working with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Brian Murphy
